STEAM Fair Student Interviews and Project Judging between 9 am-11 am for the 6-12 grade span, 1 pm-3 pm for the K-5 grade span. Students must be present. (Students choosing not to be interviewed can submit their projects for participation, but will not be eligible for judging. Note: ALL safety requirements still apply (see the STEAM Fair handbook)
STEAM Expo Family Event 10 am – 4 pm We will have various STEM activities available to explore, including a Stockton Astronomical Society, Girls Coding Network, SJCOE Star Lab, basic Engineering, and much more! The STEAM Fair student projects will also be available to view for 1 hour after judging has concluded.
STEAM Fair Award Ceremonies- The award ceremonies will be held the same day as the STEAM Fair, 12:30 PM (6th-12th Grade) and 4:30 PM (K-5th Grade). All participants are welcome to attend the ceremonies.
Project Pick-Up
Schools/Students are encouraged to take home boards after the STEAM Fair project viewing time.
Any projects left behind can be picked up Monday-Friday, February 10th - February 27, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm

- Online student registration closes. No late registrations will be accepted to ensure a fair and valid competition.
Thursday February 5th, 2026
- All projects must be checked in on this day to be eligible to participate in the competition.
- Check in projects at the Wentworth Education Center, 2707 Transworld Dr., Stockton, between 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm. (Projects can be brought in individually or by a school representative)
Remember to bring:
- Hold Harmless Agreement, one per student
- Tri-fold Board or Poster or Project/Artwork Display
- Notebooks for all students
- Abstract and/or Summary (4th - 12th grade only)
