Looking for
Volunteers!
The San Joaquin County Office of Education, STEM Programs Department, will host more than 400 K-12th grade students from various San Joaquin County schools, presenting thier science, technology, engineering, and math projects.The general public will be enjoying the STEAM Expo portion of the event.
We are looking to recruit more than 50 volunteers to share their time and support of students.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring a friend to share the rewarding experience.

![]() Each year San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) STEAM Fair awards thousands of dollars to students of San Joaquin County who exhibit superior levels of understanding and articulation in the area of science, engineering, technology and mathematics. Our vision is to celebrate opportunities in STEAM education that inspire and empower all students to be innovative, creative, and determined Makers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. Our mission is to provide equitable opportunities and access to develop and share STEAM Fair projects and explore hands-on STEAM exhibitions and phenomena. Top students with competitive projects proceed to the California State Science and Engineering Fair held virtually this year (6th - 12th grade).
