SJCOE SCIENCE FAIR

Each year San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) STEAM Fair awards thousands of dollars to students of San Joaquin County who exhibit superior levels of understanding and articulation in the area of science, engineering, technology and mathematics.

Our vision is to celebrate opportunities in STEAM education that inspire and empower all students to be innovative, creative, and determined Makers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.
Our mission is to provide equitable opportunities and access to develop and share STEAM Fair projects and explore hands-on STEAM exhibitions and phenomena.

Top students with competitive projects proceed to the California State Science and Engineering Fair held each year in Los Angeles (6th - 12th grade)

Who Can Enter:

The SJCOE STEAM Fair:

is open to all K - 12 students who attend school in San Joaquin County and have a teacher or qualified adult sponsor.
is intended as a secondary fair. Schools in our county should hold independent Science Fairs before submitting projects to SJCOE.
is a qualifying fair for the California State Science and Engineering Fair.
